I love the contrast of the tall bare trees against the sparse green grass. Bare trees somehow give an impression of holding so many stories inside them.

I love this poem Paul. I love the idea that the trees are always watching, that they’ve seen so much in their lifetime. I also think that calm and solitude is freeing. People would learn a lot about themselves if they just sat for a moment to think and observe.
