  1. I can relate to this so much since I’ve been living on the other side of the world to all of my family and friends. I think the internet at least makes a world away seem somewhat closer, but I never knew how instant family and friends were when you live in the same time zone. I used to take that for granted. Distance certainly reminds us to not take each other for granted.

  2. I can relate, since I met my husband online and the distance between our countries is really great. All we could do to stay in touch via Skype or emails ☺

    • Hey Timeless, I didn’t see the comment too. I have been very busy for the past two days. Thank you for your support for my blog. I really appreciate your nomination and happy to accept. Have a nice weekend.

  3. Staying thousands of miles away from my family and friends, this very well resonated with me.. Distance is just a number, figuratively speaking.. But again it affects us in every way possible.. True to the words.. It teaches us that we should never take our loved ones for granted.. We normally do when they are around..but then as we move away, their absence makes our heart grow fonder.. Nice one… Keep writing..!! 🙂 🙂

  4. Totally agree! No one and nothing can or should be taken for granted. Each and every aspect comes with an expiry date. Taking relationships (any kind) for granted is one of the worst things that can be done.

    • Exactly, they come with an expiry date. I liked that expression and it’s like a reminder for us to utilize the time we have and ensure that we don’t take our loved ones for granted.
