A lot of times it is followed by some assumptions we make from the words, it is better to ask and affirm.

This lesson I learned from our professor who taught us Organisational Behaviour. Whenever any student would make a point in his class he would paraphrase it in his own sentence and ask “is this what you meant?” It turned out most of the times the student would realise he o she was being a bit vague and then use better words to convey what they had meant to say. Thanks for this post! 🙂
